One Lovely Blog Award
Thank you, Vanessa Grillone, for the award. As part of the rules for accepting this award, I am to list seven things about myself and then pass the award onto other bloggers.
1. I have a brown belt in Shotokan karate.
2. I am addicted completely and thoroughly to Tim Horton's iced cappuccinos.
3. I collect fine wines but don't drink wine.
4. I hate to write, but love having written.
5. I love Boston Terriers.
6. Stephen King is my hero.
7. My daughters are my best friends.
I'm supposed to nominate a whole bunch of blogs to pass the award onto but I can only come up with a few.
1. Joy Campbell http://www.joylcampbell.com/
2. The Grateful Undead http://thegratefulundead.blogspot.ca/
3. Turning the Pages http://angelafristoe.wordpress.com/
4. Books, Books, Books http://ulleseit.wordpress.com/
5. Gotta have YA http://gottahaveya.blogspot.ca/

Interesting things you've listed. I find it fascinating that you don't like to write--but love having written. Do you think it's because you worked for two decades in the publishing industry?
ReplyDeleteStephen King? :-) I admire him, love his non-fiction "On Writing" but don't like anything else he's written. :-) lol...
Fascinating people, we are :-) !
Hi Teresa, thanks for stopping by :) To answer your question, writing is hard work, plain and simple. I don't like hard work but I like the sense of accomplishment it brings when I'm done. Does that make sense? LOL
DeleteAs for Stephen King, yes, his book "On Writing" is fabulous. I think his last name is very appropriate. He's a king to me :)
