Is this my Lola?
My editor has been assigned, but I'm, still waiting on cover art for Invisible. In the meantime, I am thrilled to use the image below as my 'stand-in' cover art until the final version is produced by the publisher.
The artwork is courtesy of a talented cover artist named Tirzah. She's recently started a website for affordable and amazing cover art. If you're looking for a consciencious and talented artist, Tirzah's your gal. Check out her site at http://www.wix.com/tirzahlou/tirzahsbookcovers
I love it! Thank you, Tirzah.
How sweet!!! Thank you bunny.

You're very welcome, my friend :)
ReplyDeleteI love this picture - it is sooo Lola, and even the way the title is, is freakin' awesome! I'd buy this book if I saw that cover, just because between Lola and the title - I'd get it. Hope you sent it to your publisher for a look see.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job Tirz!

Susan, how come you're suddenly anonymous, lol. Tirz put the cover up on my facebook author page last night. What a wonderful thrill it was for me. She's such a generous soul. :)
ReplyDeleteNice cover indeed. I love the trailer she did for me. Very talented lady.
ReplyDeleteHello Jeanne, I'm stopping in from Book Blogs. I saw your request to check out your page and I came to follow you. If you would like to see my blog, you can find me at for the love of books. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteThank you Michelle :) Yes, Tirzah really does have a great talent. I absolutely agree!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you Nikki. I'm following you now as well :)
Congratulations on your forthcoming book! It's such an exciting time. (I feel like how Ira Levin described Rosemary when she finds out she's pregnant and sees a pregnant woman on the street and wants to say, "Me too!") My novel won't be out for a while yet though--I will be thinking all great things for your upcoming release, and watch for news of it...
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny,
ReplyDeletethanks for the comment and the kind words :) Yes, this is an exciting time. Best of luck with your novel as well!
Jeanne,
ReplyDeleteMichelle pointed me this way. Really like what Tirz has done with your Lola. The effect is lovely and in keeping with the theme of the book. BTW - who did the eyes on your FB icon? Somehow I thought that was the book cover.
